A wedding gift made of their own story.
Most wedding gifts are for the house. This one is about the two people: how they met, the proposal, the song, the friends at table six. You send the memories, we write the clues, and the couple gets a crossword to solve together once the confetti has settled.

The example here is an invented order for Sophie and Daniel, “from everyone at table six”. Its twelve answers include the seaside town where they met, the picnic where he proposed, the cheesecake they chose instead of a wedding cake, and the ring the dog nearly swallowed the night before. None of those would appear in a generic wedding puzzle, and that is the whole idea.
The title and subtitle are yours to choose, for example the couple's names and the wedding date, and the dedication line prints under the grid.

When to give it
Three good moments
In the card box on the day
Print page 1 on good paper, fold it into the card, and keep the solution for later. It is the one gift that takes up no room in the car home.
On the guests' tables
A couple can also order one about themselves and print it for the reception: something for the tables to do between courses, and a story most guests only half know.
On the first anniversary
Paper is the traditional first-anniversary material in the UK list, so a printed crossword of the wedding year fits neatly. See anniversary crosswords.

The listing has five boxes for the couple's names and the occasion, your memories (one per line) and a dedication. We choose the answers and write each clue, and the finished A4 PDF is uploaded to your Etsy order, normally within 1–3 days. Wedding crossword FAQ
We are guests and do not know the couple's whole story. Does that matter?
No, ten memories is enough, and they can come from several people. Ask a sibling or the best man for a few, add what you know yourselves, and put everyone's names in the dedication.
Can it be ready for the wedding day itself?
The finished PDF normally arrives within 1–3 days of receiving your complete details. Order at least a few days before you need to print it; same-day delivery is not guaranteed.
Can we print copies for the guests' tables?
Yes. You receive a PDF and can print it as many times as you like, at home or at a print shop. Remember that page 2 is the solution and page 3 your order confirmation, so print page 1 for the tables.
What does the couple actually receive?
Whatever you print. The file is an A4 PDF with the puzzle, its clue lists and your dedication on page 1 and the full solution on page 2 (page 3 is your order confirmation); nothing is posted. You could frame page 1 or tuck it into a card.
Is AI used to write the clues?
Yes, as a helper: your memories are turned into clue wording with an AI writing tool, and every clue is read and edited by a person before the puzzle is sent. The crossword design, grid engine and layout are our own work.
